This is the third Sai Kung infrared photography workshop that consists of 2 parts: 1. Energy-saving card game Session: By playing with a set of puzzles and a card game that simulate the daily use of home appliances, children learnt about the relationship between daily energy consumption and their environmental impact in the process.
2. Infrared photography Session: In the form of a treasure hunt game. we encourage children to explore the energy of their "familiar" community. By using a mobile phone and a professional infrared camera, they observed energy-related things in the community together, and use the lens to Re-understand the community from another angle.
Sharing from Intern, Wing Kit:
In this infrared light photography workshop designed for kids, we teach them how to use infrared light cameras that can see and measure the heat of things. At the workshop held on 29th April, we added two iPads with these cameras to allow them to see things on bigger screens. The kids had fun looking at how hot different things were, like the roof, the AC, and the solar panels etc.
