"SEE Smart Energy Community" is a low carbon research project led by the Department of Geography and Asian Energy Studies Centre of Hong Kong Baptist University, collaborate with experts from nine universities around the world; the local educational, business, and community groups (including Hong Chi Association, Hong Kong Electric, Kai Shing Management Services Ltd). During these three year from 2022 to 2024, we will build a low-carbon smart energy quarter together with 600 households in four communities in Hong Kong (Yuen Long Fairview Garden, Sheung Shui Metropolis Plaza, Sai Kung Community and South Horizons.

You can become a "SEE Mate", by installing Smart Sensors at home, you can learn and use your personalised Energy Tips from the "SEE App"; even participate in low-carbon activities with other friends in the community, and generate electricity from solar energy. We invite you to envision, design and practice how to make good use of "energy" to achieve goals such as saving money, reducing emissions and environmental protection, etc.
