Special thanks to the Management Office of The Wings, Kai Shing Management Services Limited, for giving huge support and providing venues for these two workshops today.
The first part of the workshop was the introduction to solar energy and its principles for the children and their parents☀️🕵🏻
Then, we introduced the solar panel application in Hong Kong, such as the solar panels on the top of bus stop shelters or rooftops of schools. Apart from the applications on buildings, solar panels can also be used on some small tools, such as camping equipment 🏕️ !
The workshop also introduced The Wings' solar panels to the households and their children😳🙌🏻 which deepen their understanding of their housing estates! Many parents and children do not know that their housing estates already have solar panels 😎🤩 Thus, we believe this event has given them more understanding and expectations of the application and imagination of solar energy in the community🙌🏻
We got a special outcome compared to the past workshops, different ethnic residents joined us. Hence, we arranged translation for the explanation part so as to increase their understanding of the idea of our workshops!
We made use of questioning them to point out the importance of solar energy. Since climate change has become an urgent problem that needs to be solved shortly, it is vital to develop solar energy well❗️Not only can it save our energy and money, but it can also save our future.🌳🏡To build a GREEN Hong Kong for our next generation.
In the final part, every family drew their vision for their future community on their solar light. We all wished solar energy could be integrated into our lives as they had drawn.
These three Decorative Light was very delicate with flowers and trees. We felt the kids and their family's expectations of Green Hong Kong🤩!
